Bora Bora

Bora Bora is a small island in the South Pacific northwest of Tahiti in French Polynesia. Surrounded by motus (islets) with sandy shores and a turquoise lagoon protected by a coral reef, it is known for diving. It is also a popular luxury tourist complex where some bungalows are located on stilts in the water. In the center of the island, Mount Otemanu rises, an inactive volcano of 727 m.
