I was thinking that in future, more people will invest in steem and if more people invest the reward pool might not be fixed, i guess.
For now, it's fixed but if more and more people would invest in Steem the price would go up and then also the $ value of the payouts (even though you might get less Steem tokens). But it will be a while until that happens. I'm in no rush though. I'm invested for years.
