Today I set out to share this topic with you, my virtual friends and to delve briefly into the theories of breastfeeding and the process of weaning.
What is the best age or the best time for weaning?
I have read many documented comments and others not so much about that process in which they insist that a child after 6 months of age receives nothing through the breast.
Things like:
"That boy does not get anything out of there"
"That does not feed him anymore"
and how many more things ...
Some sources mention that exclusive breastfeeding should be up to 6 months and then continue prolonged breastfeeding until 2 years (I firmly believe that more, my daughter has 4 ... hehehe)

There are mamis who wean even before 6 months for multiple reasons, but the link that is woven between mother and child is not broken by any argument founded or invented.
In my experience my daughter and I are coming to the end of our journey through breastfeeding which has been quite long but we have enjoyed it.
Many times we must resort to advice on these issues to avoid going crazy listening to everyone. There is no need to explain to anyone about the decisions we make for the good of our children.
For me it was a blessing, I loved it, it is a beautiful experience and you feel that special connection that is indescribable. I know that it will cost me more than her when weaning ends, but for now we are purely happy.
See you soon!!
