Happy Festivus, Steemians! Do you have any grievances to air? I promised myself that I will start looking at life in a positive light a few weeks ago so I guess I have none -- except for the fact that my go-to kebab-rice place in Lipa City closed down recently 😖😖😖

As far as Festivus Feats of Strenghts go, I have been pinned down early in the morning by my 4-year old, vedder, following a frogsplash. (I know I shouldn't have shown him clips of WWE on youtube) So i guess we can now put that aside. 😝😝😝

For the Festivus Miracle, it's due to happen in 4 hours, I will finally be able to get a take some break from work -- the past few weeks have been really, really toxic, but I ain't complaining -- and get to watch Star Wars (FINALLY) with the Missus 😍, I hope she doesn't doze off 😅 I'll be getting a big bucket of cheesy nachos with everything on it to keep her busy and awake (the nachos is double-purpose, it will also keep her from asking questions until the movie is over -- or until the nachos run out at the very least 😆😆😆) I'm still thinking if i'll bring my Kylo Ren Light Saber with me.

So I guess that's it. I just snuck in for a few minutes to post this while taking a short break from work, the wife and the kids are out, and I should be ready when she comes back.

Until then. Happy Festivus! I hope you all have a good one.

a brief background:
My name is Erwin, a work-from-home dad living in San Pablo City, Philippines. We have three kids, Kirsten, Zeppelin (the start of this blog), and Vedder.

Zeppelin, or Zepp as we fondly call him, was born with a severe infection that resulted in the lack of oxygen during the first moments of his life.

He was behind developmentally in his first years, and was finally diagnosed with GDD (Global Developmental Delay) when he turned 2 by a Developmental Pediatrician

We threw in everything, including the kitchen sink, so he could have his therapies -- occupational, speech and as well as special education, with the hopes that he'll improve before 7 years old -- the time when the brain is at its most malleable. He's now past that age, and have only gained little improvement.

He has the cognitive skills of a 2 year old, language skills of a 1 year old, motor skills of a pre-schooler, and the appetite of a full-grown adult.

I love him with all of my heart.

If you haven't read it yet, please do take the time to read the beautifully-written A Day In The Clouds which chronicles one of Zepp's misdaventures.

Happy Festivus!

A Festivus for the rest of us!

I'll get the pole out of the crawlspace!!!!!

Happy Festivus! My grievance is the recent STEEM dump, and my feat of strength was when I lifted not one, not two, but 1.5 spare water jugs. I patiently await my Festivus Miracle soon.

Have fun watching The Last Jedi! May the Force be with you!

Lol mind blown. What a ride. :)
