How to Gain Motivation and the Power of Never Giving Up

in #life2 years ago

We have a serious issue, in my opinion: we quickly give up!

The topic matter is irrelevant; the technique is the same. We become excited about something, dare to take action, and then get bored and give up after three attempts and not getting the intended outcomes.

If we don't see immediate results from our efforts, we start to feel defeated, unfinished, and unworthy. While we take a long time to build ourselves, it only takes three seconds or less to destroy us. Isn't that unfair to ourselves?

We can't stand falling. Many of us are spoilt brats. We keep going after she falls and wails, "I won't get up, what's wrong with me?" What happened to patience and perseverance? Now we're seeing our materialism in unexpected areas I feel we lack the perseverance to follow even our passions. Are "true" passions dismissed? I spoke of our passions. Is it still passion if it's abandoned? No idea...

Loving Vincent, a film about Vincent Van Gogh's dying years, has stayed with me. Do you know that Van Gogh's paintings were never seen by anyone while he was alive? Only "one" artwork has been sold. He paints every morning and evening, and only one piece has ever been sold! Unbelievable. His financial situation is grave while he is alive. His brother, who has never lost faith in him, buys his paintings.

Van Gogh is a painter only. He claims he expresses himself through painting and that sketching is his passion. He doesn't care if it sells or if he's loved. In actuality, his work is rarely recognised while he is alive! But he doesn't give up. That, to me, is passion. Passion is the only thing that a person realises without thinking about the future. Putting work, time, and excitement is the only thing a person realises without thinking about the future.

I think we should be inspired by Van Gogh. Especially now, when it is so easy to lose sight of one's self and worth. Would artists who battled to survive and performed their profession at whatever cost be like today's people? What if they listened to others instead of their own beliefs? Would we be able to see the art we saw? Would the world have met such brilliant, creative, and inspirational artists?

An important distinction between the past and today is that the ancients lived in their own world. His own desires, feelings, and wishes came first. Now, when I look across the world, I see a scenario of external dependency. But when others approve, we feel validated and on the right track. It's so sad. And that's upsetting because it implies that most non-initiates rely on others for their happiness presently. And that means it's razor thin. Not having a mod and not liking what you've done makes you think you're terrible, right?

This is where meditation can help. Thanks to our meditation-induced heightened awareness of reality, we may now turn inwards, to our own hearts, instead of waiting for external validation. No longer dependent on the external world! Just for this reason, I encourage everyone to meditate.

However, downs do not make a person useless or a failure. It is a fact of life. Life has its ups and downs. However, these prominent artists know this and refuse to give up. They don't give up. They continue because they began. The same goes for our athletes. It's the simplest way. But I have yet to see an actor lose up on their dream. Amazing patience! Let them be an example to us. Thank you to all!

So, don't give up on your new endeavor. Doin' it. Strive. Think and rise, then fall and rise. This is existence; truth. Never give up on your passion. Don't give up to inspire this world, humanity.
