Lighthouses of the Maritimes

You won't go far in The Maritimes without seeing a lighthouse, and for obvious reasons. The Maritime Provinces are rocky and surrounded by ocean making the 100's of lighthouse extremely important for watercraft. But they also make for great photos.

Most of the photos in this post were taken in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. There are so many lighthouses that after a while they all start to look the same haha.

Below are a selection I photographed while travelling Atlantic Canada. These are the ones I found particularly interesting or photogenic.
