Great insightful post! I don't think Litecoin is ready for the scale needed for Amazon payments at this point but it is definitely an aspiration. We will need the Lightning Network to fully launch before we consider the possibility of being a viable first alternative to traditional payment systems. I do believe that Litecoin is currently the best option and the team supporting the technology have the focus to get it done but trying to do it soon would actually hurt the initiative. If you look at how clogged the pipelines were in January, you can tell that the technology still needs some development.
It would be a shame to rush into anything too quickly to jeopardize any forward momentum the litecoin initiative is currently carrying. I think there is most definitely a bright and boundless future for this alt, and I can see it being mass adopted, but it may just be a matter of time.
The team backing ltc has some extraordinary talent , and I think a HODL here is a move no one would in a million years, rue.
