Uneasy in London! 2 German girls exploring the world

My best friend and me downloaded the app "been" last year. Been gives you the option to mark each country in the world you have already traveled to and calculates the percentage of the world you have already seen (based on countries).

We decided to travel more and booked a weekend trip to London - the city of Big Ben, London Eye, tea with milk and the Queen!

The closer we got to the weekend, the more excited! We booked our flights with Lufthansa (FRA to LHR) and stayed at the motel one near Tower Bridge which surprisingly has quite a lot of German staff!

With increased awareness we explored the city - a few days prior to our trip, a terrorist killed several people in the city followed by multiple events using the same pattern: a van driving into crowded places! Constantly on the look out we tried to enjoy London.

Get yourself an Oyster card as the tube is definitely the best way to explore different areas of London - trains travel with high frequency. We still recommend hopping on a red sightseeing bus on day 1 as it gives you a good overview of what you may want to explore during your stay.

Exchange money? No problem if you don't - credit cards have a very wide acceptance in London. Some vendors even offer the option to charge you directly in EUR.

London is definitely fun and worth a visit!
