Goodbye "frosty" My first pet :(

Hi All,

This is my first post here, and I wanted this to be a post to be remembered forever.
I lost my pet "FROSTY" last month; she was a winter white hamster.

I never had a pet in my life; my parents never liked them. So last year finally mustered the courage to get a pet, and frosty came to our lives. One of my friends gave her to me. It was difficult for me to convince my wife to allow inside our home since she is scared of pets in general. But I somehow convinced her to keep frosty for a week. And that was enough for my wife to fall in love with frosty :)
We were going through some personal tragedy, and Frosty came into our lives and filled that gap.
A pet can help you so much emotionally you cant even imagine. I used to laugh at people when they cried for there pets or treated like family. Now I know how it feels.

Hope my Frosty will stay here forever bringing happiness to people like she brought in my life, even if it is for a minute.
