Staring at my daughter
I wonder if i made the right choice
I love the woman beside me
But at what cost

I read enough stories
To believe love could conquer all
She is so innocent
Oh god it hurts so much

The doctors warned me about this
But how could i
Why did i believe love over science
Why did i choose love over common sense

8years ago i met sandra
And i instantly fell in love
We were the definition of a perfect couple
Until science said no

But i was already too deep in love
To leave her for some genotype test
I and sandra were both AS
But love was in excess

I felt it was too late to turn back
Against doctors and friends advice
But now staring at my 6year old daughter
I dare to regret my decision

Probability failed me
I mean it was a 1/4 chance
I did the maths right
And i even prayed to God

I only wanted just one child
A boy at least
He may had even be an AA
But look at what i got

An SS daughter
At the first trial
And now she's dieing in my arms
After suffering so much

Who do i run to
Who do i cry to
What would i tell God
How do i survive this

Someone please tell my daughter
daddy is sorry
Its not her fault but mine
That she suffers for my ignorance and bears the cross of my sins

Every sickler atrack episode
Brings her closer to her grave

How do i tell her she may never grow old
She may never fall in love
God, she is too young to go
She may not see tommorow

And then in a tiny voice she ask
"Dada, am i going to die"
My heart broke in pieces
There is no consoling me

She still smiles
As she struggles to hold on
"Daddy its ok" she said
"I would say hello to God for you"

God please spare her and take me
But after 6years of long suffering
My little angel died today
Holding her cold hands i realised
