Have you ever heard of the saying that you are made up of the 5 closest people? People who interact with you on a daily will have the most powerful influences on your life.
When I meet people that I admire, I take the time to get to know them. I have met so many amazing people in my life, and I have so many mentors. I appreciate other artists, entrepreneurs and people with positive energy. Everyday I strive to be a better person and to have a positive attitude on life. It is easy to achieve these two simple goals when I have other positive influences in my life. I believe that we feed off other people’s energy. Have you ever noticed that when you are around people that are depressed, their negativity could also bring you down?
Life is too short to waste. Find people you want to be like and connect with them. We should all be grateful for the Steemit community. Steemit is the perfect platform to do so!
Here a couple people I really enjoy on Steemit:
I really admire and love reading @kaylinart’s blogs. I love that we have so much in common being artists and all. I admire her ambition to write quality posts daily. I love hearing her thoughts and ideas. If you haven't had the opportunity to read her blogs, I highly encourage you to check her out!
I also really admire @xaero1 for all of his knowledge about cypto currency! @xaero1 you are such an awesome friend, and I'm so grateful to have you in my life. May our future days on Steemit be filled with more laughter, jokes, and GOT references.
Lastly, I just want to give a shout out to @cecirod1218 for all of her positive words. Wishing you a safe recovery and healing!

I think you can seperate it in online and offline.
For example I have many friends offline and some of them influence me in a really positive way. So let's just say I have 5 people offline who I want to surround myself with the most.
On the other hand I also have some friends/contacts/sources online that I really admire and like to read/watch. Of course they influence me as well and in some parts way more than my offline friends. On the internet there always will be way more knowledge available than in your offline surrounding. So problems/concepts like selection bias are way more prevealing and therefore important. Online has way more potential - but way more problems as well.

Hehehe... well I went to school for business... they have the same term for that as well. Learned it in accounting class... first in first out, when counting inventory. I'm a nerd too 🤓🤓🤓

WoW, thats an interesting post and chat about offline and online friends. I think one of the most valuable part (and maybe a partially reason of all these DDoS attacks) of online friends is, that as you are connected to the whole world you can really become friends with the ones that "suit" you the most, where as in the real world it may take you longer to find someone who "knows" what you are talking about. Soulmates where thoughts are understood, moods respected and love appreciated. I really love both kind of friends, and I wouldn't want to miss one or the other. I think if we use the web in a good way, we can actually have a huge impact! OOoooh yeeaAH!!
