RE: Is there true love without money?

in #love7 years ago

What you see now is result of 'choice'. No longer are women (for most part) dependent on man or fearful of society and that is why we see more people breaking apart AND it is becoming difficult to get into a meaningful relationship...that is not due to money, it is due to choice. We should be glad for this choice...why? Because it gives us equal opportunity to find someone based on our values rather than values imposed by society...

I have written an article about Love and how it can turn ugly..., at the core, it is the preconceived notion that people come to relationships with that cause the issues.

For example, a possible deep rooted prejudice that money is needed for love...and this belief can impede our ability to find love or take the one for granted when do find because we are busy chasing money in the hope of finding love when there was no price to begin...

I was drawn to your title and was going to respond with a one-liner and before I realized, it turned out to be what it has.

You know in a third world country like Nigeria where I live, money is always an underlying cause, one that cannot be ignored. It's sad but it's true, a woman can develop genuine feeling for a guy then find out he's completely broke with no job. Chances are the love erodes gradually, that's the point I was tryna make

I know where you are coming from, I am from india and have seen people BREAKING up just because of financial aspect...
