DIVORCE. GOOD OR BAD

The rate of divorce is steadily increasing, am not going to bore you with the statistics and list of reasons people do it. But people have used this opportunity to gradually wipe off the dreams of happily ever after. Am not talking fairy tale relationships, prince charming and knight in shining armor. Am talking reality, long marriages that last till death do us part. Genuine love with strong commitment. Couples growing old. Is it that people have just become intolerant these days or selfishness is the order of the century?
I don't know what you think but if divorce is completely removed from the table, people will go into marriage knowing that it is for the long hol. There will be no sham marriages or separate homes with kids facing emotional problems. But then what will be the solution to a marriage which face extreme issues? Since there's no divorce, people will learn to either resolve the issue or learn to live with it. Do you think divorce has been good to the society? My opinion is, it has caused more damage, heart break and emotional disorder than it has liberated others from bad marriages.
My advice is neither to divorce nor not to divorce. It's to look carefully and examine one's self and partner if you are willing to go through with it for the long hols. Let greed not be the object of your goal. At least be greedy and sincere rather than tearing your partner's heart out. Let love lead people. Let's find genuine love. To couples out there struggling, if you are willing to make the appropriate sacrifices and stop this cankerworm eating deep into the society you might just see the benefit of endurance. That everyone is doing it doesn't make it right.
