Ripple/XRP Payments by anyone, in anything, to anywhere

Welcome back guys, today we bring you a post about interoperability. Interoperability will allow anyone to make payments with whatever they wish to (provided it has value) to anyone or anything, anywhere in the world.

Scott was recently at Coinfest in Manchester and was blown away by how few people knew anything about interoperability, ILP and XRP. There was a lot of people that felt they couldn’t believe in or trust XRP from what they have heard. I’m sure you won’t find it hard to believe there was the usual talk of XRP being centralised and other nonsense. I personally struggle to understand how so many people in this industry are so quick to talk about XRP being centralised without wanting to acknowledge the fact that the majority of Bitcoin’s mining is controlled by China. It is a fact that XRP is more decentralised than BTC and the majority of crypto assets available.

The same time Coinfest was going on there was also the interledger summit, where you had representatives from Kava, Ripple, Coil, interledger and others, all showing demos where they are able to move value in an instant, using XRP as a bridge asset. Why is it so many people ignore these developments being made, whilst screaming ‘bull run’ at every green candle and proclaiming Bitcoin will overthrow the banks? This is human psychology at its finest.

The W3C are in control of interledger protocol, governing the interoperability of value which was created by Ripple Labs, which utilizes XRP as a bridge asset. It doesn’t get more trustworthy than this guys. It is in good hands so we needn’t worry!

So go and get that XRP, diversify if you feel the need to, protect your future and be happy. Live long and HODL!
