Are you an active smoker? and do you know the impact for your body?
in the United States alone smoking causes more than 480,000 deaths annually in the United States.
480,000 is not a small number, it's a number that exceeds other deadly diseases such as HIV, and so forth.
The risk of death from smoking continues to increase over the past 50 years in both men and women.

Here I mention the dangers of smoking for the health of the body which hopefully can add to your spirit to quit smoking.

  1. Increasing the risk of stomach cancer, blood cancer and lymphatic cancer, because it contains levels of 1.3-Butadine, is one of the chemicals used to produce rubber.

  2. Causes various types of cancer, because cigarettes contain Arsenic substances that are used to preserve wood.

  3. It interferes with DNA repair and causes kidney damage as well as the lining of the arteries, because the content of the Cadmium substance is a metal substance used to make the battery.

  4. The danger of smoking for future health is that it can cause heart disease and heart attacks. Because the carbon monoxide content in cigarette smoke is inhaled into the bloodstream. Carbon monoxide reduces the amount of oxygen carried in red blood cells and increases the amount of cholesterol absorbed into the inner lining of the arteries, resulting in hardening of the arteries or atherosclerosis.

  5. Inhibits DNA repair and can damage the lining of the lungs, as it contains Akrolein, Formaldehyde and Chromium VI which can eventually cause lung cancer.

  6. Causes leukemia due to cigarettes containing Benzene substances that are actually used to produce other chemicals.

  7. Tar content in cigarettes will stick to the lungs, and cause a brown color on the teeth and nails. great is not it?

  8. Women who smoke or who do not smoke but often exposed to tobacco smoke tend to give birth to low-weight babies and there is an increased risk of premature birth.

  9. Smoking can increase the risk of cataracts (opacification of the lens of the eye that makes you hard to see) as well as related to damage to the retina of the eye.

  10. Nicotine in cigarettes is a dangerous and highly addictive chemical that can cause increased blood pressure, heart rate, blood flow to the heart and constriction of blood vessels. Nicotine also contributes to the hardening of artery walls, which, in turn, also causes heart attacks.
