2 Days Until Take Off!!! + Map Of First Day!
Well ladies and gentleman, there is only two days left until take off. I can only sleep on my memory foam mattress twice more before I have to get used to the cold hard surface of the earth. It'll be an eye opening, adrenaline filled journey. The route I'm taking tarts out pretty tough. I am entering a very hilly, mountain-esk part of Oregon. I will be probably having quite a few short days to start this project off, but I'm sure after awhile it'll smooth out, and we will be moving. I am excited to be alone, I know that sounds weird, but some of the most peaceful times , is when I'm completely alone, with my thoughts. I'm going to be alone, with my thoughts mainly all day, everyday. I hope I like who I'll be getting to know!!
This will be the route for the first day. I will cross the state line, and end somewhere near Hermiston, Oregon. (Roughly 50 Miles) I am leaving at 4:30am in the morning, so If I get to Hermiston, early, and feel great, I'll continue on. But if not, there is plenty of camping around Hermiston and I'll find a place to crash!!
Coming down into Oregon, is about a 5 mile downhill decline. I'm looking forward to that!!!, but I'm not looking forward to climbing up to get there haha.
I'm almost expecting a flat tire. I've haven't had a flat tire in about 6 months. I know for a fact, it'll happen when I start this, just to test my patience. My last little tour down the Washington coast into Oregon, I got a flat tire 9 miles in to it haha.
