I found this fantastic contest run by @flamingirl browsing for macro photography. The photos from the participants are truly amazing. I have to admit that the level is very high and the images are outstanding. However, being a novice this is a challenge that I will try because I am sure I can learn more about macro photography. And on top of that it motivates me to get better and better.

I love to photograph droplets of water. The photo I present today is a sage leaf and that single droplet magnifies the texture in a way that you may not recognize the plant.
