This is probably the most famous insect, which you do not need to look for, just pouring some sugar syrup and meeting with the wasps is enough.

But, it so happened that this year I was only met several times and only once I was able to photograph the wasp from a close distance.

Every time I brought the lens closer to the axis, it flew away and left a blurry picture. It even started to piss me off. Butterflies can be photographed, and I can not miserable.

If honestly, I do not really like wasps, they used to bite me often. The first insect that bit me in childhood, except for mosquitoes, it was wasp.

We were at a picnic and my mom made a salad of tomatoes with sour cream. I remember that well. I did not notice that a wasp sat on the fork and sent it into my mouth.

The sensations of the bite were so vast that it was remembered for life.

Still, the wasps like to get tangled in my hair and bite without stopping. Thank God that I do not have any allergies to their bites. In general, I say bites, but, it's not true, it's true to say - sting.

It is possible that wasps and harmful neighbors, for some reason, that I described above, but like most other insects, they are of benefit.

Wasps, they are predators, they destroy many other harmful insects, thereby they are useful for humanity.

It's bad that they destroy bees. more precisely, the wasps tend to steal honey and climb into the beehive to the bees, and the bees guard the honey, at the cost of their lives. In the battle with wasps, many bees die. Aspen jaws easily bite the bee neck.

Wasps, this is the case when one can not say unequivocally, this is a useful insect, or a pest. But, it's better to stay away from the wasps.
