Steemit Challenge Season 29, W-3 | Creative Insect macro videography

I am thrilled to participate in the Steemit Challenge Season 29 Week 3, hosted by @alejos7ven. This weeks theme is creative insect macro videography & I have chosen the Hornet for my entry. Today, I had a fascinating & unexpected encounter during my travels. I found this impressive hornet near the industrial zone of Port Qasim Suzuki Motor Company.

This discovery happened purely by chance. I was traveling near the Port Qasim Suzuki Motor Company area when I stopped for a moment. Just outside the company's perimeter & in a patch of wild grass & shrubs that contrast sharply with the industrial surroundings I spotted this hornet. Its deep resonant buzz immediately caught my attention it sounded almost mechanical fitting oddly with the industrial ambiance.

The hornet was busily foraging among the wild plants likely searching for insects or sap. Its moved with a purposeful commanding energy that was mesmerizing to watch. Capturing it was an exercise in patience & steady nerves. I had to crouch low & move my camera very slowly to avoid startling it & all while the distant sounds of the industrial area provided a surreal backdrop. The biggest challenge was the occasional gust of wind that shook the plants & the one of the hornet swift into another leave & its very difficult to capture both in video like starting. It was very unpredictable movement.

I captured all the footage & images using with my Android Redmi A3. I focused on getting a variety of angle wide shots to show its stark industrial habitat, side profiles to display its powerful anatomy & extreme close ups to reveal the stunning details. Its complex, faceted eyes strong mandibles & the delicate powerful wings.
