Poetry : The Art of Emotional metaphors : Part 4

Well here are two more. The first is about witchcraft and magic. It is centered around protection from others thoughts or intentions as well as trusting the body. I have been feeling like I am needing to do more to protect myself on an energetic level especially while I am untangling from my former partner. The second is about embodiment and witnessing old memories to reframe them energetically. So being able to be embodied while re-remembering traumatic experiences and being able to hold that space as a witness for myself. In doing this practice while meditating it can shift the past memory energetically and allow for more embodiment where that energy was stuck. I hope you all enjoy

Circle of white
Protection of light
Energy evading
Masquerading
Cover my soul
No loss of control
Thoughts seeping
Danger creeping
Darkness surrounds
Recovering ground
Self stability
Release inability
Don’t dare ignore
Strength in my core

The girl wore her skin tight over her bones
She curled up into her body
Wet energy pouring from her she bathed in the salty waters
Diving deep but never reaching solidity
Always left gasping
As the pressure formed around her
The body became stone sinking with ease
In the darkness she began to see
Physical sight revealed through embodiment
Visions she touched each texture different from the last
Ripples cascading as each memory was witnessed
Stone body smoothed by the water
Sensory wisdom restored
