AES is actually a two-sided blade to me.
Why?
Good = Prevent traffic accidents
Bad = More traffic jams
TBH I don't really mind much about AES yes I'm still a new driver on the road, but speaking the BAD part of AES, I just purely hate the implementation of the speed-limiters AES. Go faster by 1 km/h = RM 300 lost :pain:
Traffic lights AES? Please leave that up 24/7 JPJ. I seriously can't tolerate those who go past a traffic light that already gone red than those who go past the speed limit by 1 km/h since they pose a higher risk to get an accident.
I can't get the point why the government is waiving the AES fines without a single reason. Second chance to everyone? Who knows. We'll wait and see.
Yes, I do think that traffic light AES is a good thing. But I think I might have to more specific next time for any updates. In this post, I was more focusing on the speedway AES. Speedway AES actually might increase the risks for more accident, due to a lot of people slamming on their brakes, and causing rear end collision. Thanks for your kind feedback.
