For those that love the countryside... Manchester
Hilton opposite the train station. Every 11 minutes past the hour the train to ‘Crewe’ after two stops (10mins) goes to Alderley Edge (£5 return). A cute little up market village. From the train station I had breakfast at the ‘Village Cafe’ amazing! Then got a 2min Uber for £3 to the edge pictured. Spent one hour there, walked for 15mins back into the village as the road is paved the whole way, shopped for groceries in Waitrose and Tesco before heading back to the train station metres away. Trains every hour back to Airport. The village also has some lovely little boutique clothing and shoe shops, and the charity shops are full of quality designers due to the very rich that live in this village. Enjoy 😊
