I would prefer to use only HPS on my indoor grows, but we got a special deal with the electric company on a lighting package that saved $50K. It is a combination of LED and 630W CMH. We got nice tight inter-nodal distances and dense buds, but they were lacking in size vs traditional 1000W HPS. I will have to double check the brand and wattage for the LED when I go back in to work
I agree on the hps, they are so much more powerful, but thats a slamming deal from the electric co! I grew in colorado for nearly a decade with hps and now i moved and started over with led lights and its just not the same.. the spectrum, small electric bill and not having heat issues is awesome but it just doest have the lumens like the hps so there isnt enough penatrating light to get the weight that I use to get. :/

Thanks, I will probably post more. I got my start in Colorado and spent most of my adult life there. I miss it :)
I lived there for 10 years and thats where i started as well.. i definitely miss colorado too! Its a really awesome place to live..
