Jeff being in the position he's in is worrying and particularly telling. In a rational, sane and free society a man such as this would never be able to hold a position of influence.
I completely agree. He bases many of his decisions on his ideology and understanding of issues, not scientific data or rational thought (my opinion). He's now a huge liability to the Republican party. Not that I'm a fan of the Republicans or anything...just doesn't make sense.
I bet we see other Repubs denouncing Jeff's decision / statement in the coming days because well over half the country supports legalization in some form.
