The most important challenge around #marketfriday, initiated by @dswigle
I'm in a big dilemma
I promised not to post in this challenge anymore ... in this most successful challenge that I know. It's successful not only because of the theme: #marketfriday but as much because of the initiator and host: @dswigle. Denise, the person you want to be friends with in Steemit. With amazing ability to help, communicate and sustain. I know what I'm saying, I was returned twice by Denise in my decision to leave this platform.
What is this dilemma?
I made many mistakes, one of them was linked to #marketfriday challenge. I made a proposal to both, the participants and Denise. A proposal to change this challenge, a proposal with far too many details ( You can see the post HERE if you are interested) There were four comments, two supporters (maybe polite ones) and two who criticized the initiative. They were very angry with me and accused me of things I did not think. Maybe they were right. Considering that they were right, I promised I would leave the challenge and not post again. I kept my promise so far. Instead, Denise thinks I have no reason to stop posting and asked me to come back. The dilemma is: to respect my promise (as is normal for any man) or to listen to what Denise said, the host of the challenge?
Choosing
As I have done many mistakes, so I made many wrong choices. I choose to post in Denise's challenge again. If you have a feeling about it, if I did well or wrong, I'd be glad to find out! It helps me a lot to understand and choose again.
Posting
A month ago I made a trip to Iasi, one of the most interesting cities in Romania. I know the city pretty well because I have visited it many times. I want to present many parts and aspects of life in Iasi. Today I will show one of the markets. For Denise and her friends.
The Underground Market
The market closest to the hotel where we usually live when visiting Iasi is built underground. A very good choice, especially when the weather is unfavourable. I went winter there and I was glad that the market was protected from snow and cold.
The square, seen from above, looks like that. Its uncovered part is under the snow.
When I got down, I disturbed some birds that were sheltering from cold and snow.
We have entered in the market, the first one is welcoming are flowers. We have to buy some for our friend who invited us to Iasi.
Then my wife met two fruit sellers, apples in particular. She had known them for a long time, my wife lived in Iasi for more than a year.
We can also buy various vegetables, dried herbs and honey.
A last look at the world above and we will leave the market. It was just a reminder, we stay at the hotel, and we cannot cook anything.
The Usual Recipe
I usually end the post with a recipe. I used to cook with the products I bought on the market. This was the novelty of my posts in #fridaymarket. Because I was not able to cook in Iasi, I present you a very short recipe that I did at home.
Bean Paste
Boil half a pound of beans with a carrot, onion and salt. After the bean is boiled, soup is poured into a bowl.
Crush the bean with the mixer.
While using the mixer, add the soup from the boil, add olive oil and garlic paste until the consistency you want is reached.
This is all. The result is a very tasty bean paste. I hope you will try it too. Good appetite!

Thanks! I appreciate your effort for our protection. I would not have fallen into the trap because I do not believe in exaggerated promises and things for free. However, there may be many who can be tempted.
Thank you for keeping an eye on us!
A wonderful looking market visit. I love the looks of the gourds, reminded me so much of fall. My favourite season.
Thank you, Pryde! You have to wait until your favourite season will come. Our seasons are closer!
My pleasure, Blue. That's okay I love Spring and Summer too. And so it is very fun getting there. Stop by my blog if you have a moment. No one seems to around these parts anymore. I am getting lonely:)
We all are lonely, more or less. It's a feeling you'll often meet here.
Dan! You know that you are always and forever welcome here on #MarketFriday (or any day for that matter!) Just because we do not agree on how things are done just means we are different people, which always makes life more interesting. The most important thing is that you are back and that part makes me happy. You know me by now. I can never harbor any ill feelings towards you or anyone. That is not how I am made. Anything else that was written on my behalf were from people who are protective of me, which leaves a warm place deep within knowing that someone cares.
Now, back to business.
Thank you for such a wonderful post. Very much so. Underground markets are not very common outside of big cities and I really like the idea of being shielded from the cold and rain (or in your case, snow!) It doesn't look like it is heated, but rather protected from the elements. Either way, what a great place to be in those times of bad weather! To be able to shop the Markets all year round in comfort? That is a win-win for me!
Thank you for bringing us there and showing the other side of outdoor markets. Apples and all fresh fruits are best when they are not available in my yard. :) I can see the flowers and even though they are probably from a hothouse, it still makes me smile having flowers on a winter day.
I am glad to see your novelty part of the post once again. You do leave me with things I have never eaten or cooked and it is always wonderful to learn something new from you. Thank you.
Thank you very much. I do not feel like it is breaking your promise. I feel like you are giving way for my feelings, because of course, I never wanted to see you leave. I hope you know that.
Upped and Steemed Tip!
Thanks for good feelings. I'm glad you liked my post and you did not get bored that it's about the same classic vegetable, fruit, and flower market. Sometimes I'm conservative and for me the market means ... the market. By the way, the flowers sold in the winter are all brought from the Netherlands. I have a strange feeling now when I respond to your comment, I also had it when I posted... I can't tell you why. I know you can never harbour any ill feelings towards anyone be it man, animal or flower! That's you, too good. I don't succeed at all in this regard. As you say, we are different people. I hope you believe me, I'm sure you did not want me to leave challenge. That's you, take care of everyone, the better or the worse. That's why I admire you and I'm glad to meet you.
Meeting you has been a real pleasure for me. Take my word for it.
Thank you!
I'm glad you are back! Don't leave this challenge because of some disagreement! Life is never easy, people are different and sometimes disagreements can't be avoided.
Just keep posting and enjoy the company of good people! I would be disappointed to see you quit this challenge!
It is clear that we don't think the same because I have not lived the same ... I am also convinced that those who criticized me did so in good faith. Because of love and respect for Denise. This is! From such incidents, I have to learn and I think I have learned. Thank you very much for your opinion. It helped me a lot!
I'm glad to hear that and looking forward to seeing your entries and other posts.
Thank you! I will do the same...
It looks like a fun place, I really like that glass dome structure letting in natural light.
Although it is an architecture left over from the Communist era, it is interesting even now. I also liked it and was the main reason for making this post.
Perfect post..good to see you back to this family.
It is a wonderful challenge..how could you hide all these beauty from us..good to share @bluemoon
Thank you! I agree with you...it's a wonderful challenge!
