One way trip to colonize Mars

It's inevitable the human race will have to travel to other planets in the future and until we can travel the speed of light we're going to have to hop so to speak from planet to planet until we reach that perfect planet.

Given the choice right now in your life if you could pack everything in and go to Mars to help colonize it would you go?

You may have heard of the 'mars one' mission who are doing just that. I don't know if I could leave all of my friends and family behind to live on a dead planet. I mean I'd go if it was similar to earth.. exploring the land.. finding all sorts of new species it would be amazing.
