Very well put. I agree with you that philosophy should be open for the examination for all who wish to see it. It is true that philosophies can be very complex and sometimes takes incredible study. I encountered a philosopher years, no decades ago and I wished to read his work @favcau and he said, looking at me, you would not understand it.
This is absurd for such persons to look at someone, know nothing about them and make such a statement. It is an elitist statement, a statement of ego yet such things often occur.
He did not know that just because I was young, I had already created two words in the field in which he philosophized.
Totally agree with you, and your comment. Thanks for sharing your experience. In fact, Philosophers are so bright and advanced to their times in which it belongs to live that they are always not understood (although it may seem elitist or arrogant). It is for that "Love for Wisdom" and for the accumulation of knowledge that they handle. I am inclined to "recommend" that they be more "earthly".
