This was such a fascinating tale. You really crafted a wondrous world here, and your use of the Japanese names really worked well. The way the scenes were painted and the emotions were depicted were on point. It really meshed together well. I read this as the rain started to fall, so that provided a great background for this.
Congratulations on getting the curie vote! Take it all in and roll with it. You did a really great job with this story. Yet another hit from the reader who doesn't seem to stay in one place for too long :D

It does, doesn't it? Makes you feel like the whole universe is reading with you. It's great you were able to use your experience as a reader to improve your craft as a writer. Personally, I've improved my skill by doing anything other than reading haha!
