RE: The monstrous God.

in #mary7 years ago

You could have said all of this without insulting anyone. While these things are partially true, poor communities have few, if any, examples of how these things are done. They are sent to schools with other children of poor families, they are prevented from some opportunities, and discouraged from others. Even with the ability and will to invest, they often cannot stay in long enough to profit. For those that have never been impoverished, getting out seems easy. It is not. There is an entire mindset, which most successful people are taught from childhood that the poor man misses. Being derogatory about it, indicates that you think you've stumbled on this on your own. You have not. Do you think any success you've had is solo? No. The network you've depended on, does not even exist in the minds of many poor people. But, it is true, if this seed reaches them, they can make the change. By a subtle shift in how you shared this, it could have been inspirational., and helpful, instead of judging and condemning. Well done, you've held your fellow man down, rather than lifting them up. The Bible you quoted, by the way also says this, "Give to everyone who asks of you" -Jesus

Sorry I didn't see any insult there, some people just refuse to accept the truth for the truth to set them free. Showing someone where the error is doesn't mean bringing them down or demeaning them. It can spur the person to act, ignorance is a big issue in life. Thanks for your contribution anyway.
