Transforming Numbers: A New Form of Mathematical Expression

Introduction

Math could be a pain or could be fun based on how you see it.

You could do a lot of things using maths, solving real-life problems in the world.

But what I did is like a type of art or mathematical art.

A fun way to see mathematics in a new and fun way.

What is it?

Not an official way to calculate but a fun way to try and calculate numbers.

Fun ways to get to the same results as the used formula. But in a more artistic way.

Example of it

Here I will show you one of the pieces of mathematical art that I used:

First example:

2x + 3x = 1

3/2 = 1.5

2 ÷ 2 = 1

1.5 + 1 = 2.5

1/2.5 = 0.4

0.4/2 = 0.2

Second example:

3x + 5x = 1

3/2 = 1.5

5/2 = 2.5

1.5 + 2.5 = 4

¼ = 0.25

0.25 / 2 = 0.125

Third example:

4x + 9x = 4

4/2 = 2

9 / 2 = 4.5

2 + 4.5 = 6.5

4/6.5 = 0.6154

0.6154/2 = 0.3077

What it's used for

  • This type of art is used to become more creative and think outside of the box. A fun way to search for new techniques to calculate and find results.

  • Also, it's a good way to train your mind to calculate and solve problems.

  • And the third point is it's fun.

Conclusion

So maths could be functional, fun, or just a creative way to solve some problems.

You don't need to be an expert in mathematics; you just need some creativity.
