I think this is an example of the math used in creating government budgets.
It doesn't work when the 'y' terms are both lower case. Only works for one 'y' and one 'Y' as in Y + 2 = y. So your answer is wrong. The problem given is Y+2 = y
Believe me, I am an expert in algebraic equations.
