"Being awake doesn't mean you are invincible and you don't live the human experience..." That is so right on point. I have a tendency to use "I should know better" as a way to keep myself stuck in the "I'm still not good enough" headspace. As if knowing all that I do will stop the day to day surprising interactions with people.
