Matter means different things depending on context 👇

1. Science
Matter is anything that has mass and takes up space.
Examples: water, air, rock, your phone, you.
It has 3 main states: solid, liquid, gas + plasma.

2. General meaning
Matter = issue, topic, or problem
Ex: "What’s the matter?" = "What’s wrong?"
Ex: "It doesn’t matter" = "It’s not important"

3. Business / Legal
Matter = a case or subject to deal with
Ex: "We’ll discuss this matter in the meeting"
