Mindful Momentary Meditations...

in #meditation7 years ago

This is a reading meditation and involves the senses being ignited through internal visualizations as you ponder the meaning of the guided experience driven by inspiration coming in waves of concentration amidst breaks in imagination your perception expands to include this moment, here we are...

Take a deep breath now with me, inhaling deep into your belly, filling your lungs and diaphram as much as they will hold then pause there, let the breath linger, let yourself feel that building feeling, that rising feeling of uncertainty, focus on it for a moment. Feel it like anxiety just growing in your chest, then release it with the out breath. Let the anxiety and worry go with that out breath...

Now just breath gently and easily, letting your concerns and worries just melt off slowly and steadily with each breath that you take. Soak in the moment, breathing in the fresh newness of now, breathing out the old stale energies of before...

Pay attention to your toes... How do they feel? You can relax them with your mind. Let them relax easily now...

Pay attention to your knees... How do they feel? You can relax them with your mind. Let them relax easily now...

Pay attention to your hips... How do they feel? You can relax them with your mind. Let them relax easily now...

Pay attention to your torso... How does it feel? You can relax it with your mind. Let it relax easily now...

Pay attention to your shoulders... How do they feel? You can relax them with your mind. Let them relax easily now...

Pay attention to your neck... How does it feel? You can relax it with your mind. Let it relax easily now...

Pay attention to your head... How does it feel? You can relax it with your mind. Let it relax easily now...

Just be in that wave of relaxation now... drifting simply from thought to thought, acknowledging the thoughts as passing and not permanent, just letting them come and go...

Now breath deeply and imagine yourself going even deeper into stillness and quiet.

Remain here in stillness for a moment and breath into the solitude with joy and peace.

Slowly realize that we are all as one in solitude and that fear is the illusion...

Take your time to return to your body and mind in a open, more alert way. Know that all things are in transition, and we are no different.

Be patient with yourself as you regain fully perception, and let the stillness linger throughout the rest of your day...

Just be.
