Hey there all you SoCal Steemians! It's time for another meetup! Last month we had an awesome meetup on the East Fork of the San Gabriel river in the mountains above Azusa. @csusbgeochem1, @jnetsworld, @brian.rrr, and myself(@derekrichardson) all showed up and we spent the morning prospecting for gold on the river. We didn't get rich, but we did find a few flakes and everyone had a lot of fun! Afterwards we had a nice little picnic at the Oaks picnic area down river a bit from where we prospected. As always it was really great to get to meetup and hang out with fellow Steemians!!

Then just recently @thekitchenfairy told us that she and her family were coming to visit SoCal so @mariannewest hosted a lovely meetup for us at her place in San Diego!! We had a great time checking out Marianne's garden and eating some of the delicious food from it! The kids enjoyed playing in the garden and especially feeding the chickens! The adults talked for hours about all things Steem related as well as lots of other topics. Needless to say everyone had a blast!

Now that we're caught up on all that, our next meetup will be at San Manuel Stadium home to the Sixty Sixers minor league baseball team! And I got us our own suite/skybox for the game! Snacks, appetizers, non alcoholic beverages, dinner, and desert will all be provided free of charge. There is also a bar on the suite level if you would like to purchase any alcohol. As well as a waitress who can provide the suite with anything else we may need. The suites also have a/c, television, and wi-fi available.

So, here's the basic details -

Date/time- Sunday, August 11th - Game time is 5:35, gates open at 4:00, but you can arrive as early as you like. (And if you arrive early you can possibly avoid the $7 parking fee.)

Location- San Manuel Stadium 280 s. E st. San Bernardino, Ca 92401

Directions- From the 215 freeway in San Bernardino - If you are going north on the 215 exit Mill st. and go right. At the stoplight at G st go left, and then shortly you will see the entrance on your right. If you are going south on the 215 exit 3rd st, continue straight to 2nd st, and go left on 2nd. At the stoplight at G st go right, go straight passed Rialto ave and then shortly you will see the entrance on your left. Parking is $7.

When you get there you'll need to pick up your ticket at the box office. I'll have tickets waiting under "SoCal Steemit". The tickets are free and you can get as many as you need. Then go to the far side of the main entrance and you will find the Suites entrance under the sign saying 'skyboxes'.

Once they've scanned your ticket and your inside you can head up the elevator to the second floor.

When you come out on the second floor you'll arrive at the bar/kitchen area.

From there go across the bridge and the suites will be on your left and right. I'm not sure which suite we will have yet, but I will get that figured out and update everyone in a future invite post.
