Long Time Gone
A friend of mine is out on a date with his wife. The situation reminds me of times long ago. Sadly, those times are gone forever for me.
Don't misunderstand! Things are as they should be.
The world of love is a place for the young and innocent. When one is old, memories are sweetened with age.
I miss those late night dreams and conversations about the future. They are just different now. I am a dreamer. To me the future is bright. My wife was a realist who saw the future with anxiety.
Tonight I must visit my mother. She wants to talk about the future. She is also a realist who looks for answers today. I wish I could convince her she will be fine. I think she actually enjoys worry.
Back to my friend on his date. I wish him a happy memory of his outing with his love.
Live today and let tomorrow worry about itself.
Here is today's beauty. A few more memories a Long Time Gone.
Seems to me that life is about as good as we choose to make it. If you worry a lot, you'll find a worrisome future. If you're more laid back, you'll find a more laid back future.
We still make plans for the future, because it's fun to do so, even if nothing ever comes of the plans... simply "thinking together" about something offers a measure of connection.
This is so true! My husband and I do exactly the same although we know that many of our 'plans' won't come true. It is indeed fun to do. As I wrote just yesterday: "The future is going to have enough problems; worry about them as they arise, not now".
all will go through his youth, the old age is waiting for us, whether or not the sweetest memories will be forgotten, because everyone will surely leave this world, we can only hope that the people we live in the world can not easily forget us and remember our history, leave something that makes people remember us

Hi. if age is the difference as it reflects the experience. Contuous dreaming. I do not know if that dream is for this world or for another. Dreams are hope, reflected in faith. There is a book about the miracle that talks about the illusion. I grab the text, to tell me: what I see is not decisive to lose hope. regards
Collecting photographs of childhood is a unique and creative thing. We can remember and reflect on the metamorphoses we experience.
Yes, I resonate well with story. Memories in old age are of special interest to me. Even though, I'm in my late 60's, I don't really feel old or like a senior citizen, but I do find myself looking back on my yesterdays.
