RE: 20 Things to Consider When Driving Through Mexico

in #mexico8 years ago

Though I was in Mexico for a week in February for Anarchapulco, I didn't do any driving around myself. My son and I flew in to Mexico city, took a bus to Acapulco, and from then on we were getting around by foot or taxi or bus.

Someday I want to drive the coastline... or be a passenger in a car with my husband who drives (LOL). Mexico driving is unnerving to watch even as a passenger, since as a born-and-raised native of the U.S. the roads we're used to are so much more uniform and predictable. I loved the anarchic flow of traffic, and I learned to trust the taxi driver just fine and relax, but at first it was a little stressful because I felt I could predict exactly NOTHING. LOL.

Thank you for posting this. I'm going to bookmark it for later in case I need to reference this information again. I found it very informative. :)
