Please do not bother with this person. He is spamming everywhere.
What he is trying to do is to make you sign up under his affiliate id so he earns affiliate commissions. You will get 100% free money, because byteball is legit... But he is fishy doing what he does.
You will not make $40. You will get $10 based on your Steemit reputation. 50% of that, which is $5, will be kept for 1 year under a smart contract... But you will be able to transfer the other $5 to Bittrex for instance.
I have recently published an article about this entire thing. Feel free to read it. Other established Steemians have done the same thing. Just take a look at the trending pages and you'll see people talking about "byteball airdrop".
