Today In Phoenix, Arizona

So this actually happened today (or possibly yesterday) in Phoenix, Arizona.

No, that's not a mushroom cloud. .

It's actually called a Microburst. According to Google that's:

A sudden, powerful, localized air current, especially a downdraft.

The image was taken by a Helicopter flying by. Talk about luck.

This was yesterday afternoon. We've had some haboob/monsoon activity finally out in the valley.

When was the last time you guys had a monsoon like this one? Didn't know Arizona had monsoons.

We've always had monsoons, they have been becoming a bit more occurring during summers. Very similar storms to what I saw in Kansas when I was living there. In fact, I believe we had two or three tornado watch/warnings last summer.

Yea at first I thought it was just a picture of an old nuclear blast.

What is it??? The end of the days? aaaaaaaa
