Sensitivity of milk

in #milk8 years ago

Milk sensitivity, one of the most common food allergies in children, is an abnormal response to the body's immune system against milk and its products. This sensitivity usually results from bovine milk, but can also occur because of sheep, goat, buffalo, Mammals.

Often, allergic reactions occur within minutes to hours after milk consumption, and signs and symptoms of milk allergy range from mild to severe, and may include wheezing, vomiting, urination, digestive problems, and sometimes, hypersensitivity, a potentially severe allergic reaction for life.

Milk avoidance is the primary treatment for milk allergy. Fortunately, most children get rid of this sensitivity. Those who do not get rid of it may still have to avoid dairy products.

In this file we will learn about the symptoms of this type of sensitivity, its causes and complications, and how to diagnose and treat.

Symptoms
Symptoms of milk sensitivity, which vary from person to person, occur within a few minutes to a few hours after ingestion of milk or a product.

Signs and symptoms appear immediately after ingestion of milk, and may include:

  • urticaria.
  • Sizzling.
  • Vomiting.

Signs and symptoms that may take more time to appear include the following:

  • Soft stool that may contain blood.
  • Diarrhea.
  • abdominal cramps.
  • coughing or wheezing.
  • runny nose.
  • The eyes are teary.
  • Itchy skin rash, often appears around the mouth.
  • Colic, in infants.

Milk sensitivity versus milk intolerance
The actual milk sensitivity is different from the inability to tolerate milk proteins or the inability to tolerate lactose. In contrast to milk sensitivity, endurance does not affect the immune system. The inability to tolerate milk causes different symptoms and requires different therapeutic methods than those used in the actual milk sensitivity.

Common signs and symptoms of inability to tolerate milk or lactose proteins include problems of digestion, such as bloating, gas or diarrhea, after ingestion of milk or products containing it.

Hypersensitivity
Milk allergies can cause hypersensitivity, a life-threatening allergic reaction that can lead to airway constriction and respiratory obstruction. Milk is the third month of food, after peanuts and nuts, causing hypersensitivity.

If you or your child is allergic to milk, consult your doctor about it, however mildly sensitive. Tests can help confirm milk sensitivity, so that it can avoid future allergic reactions that are likely to be exacerbated.

Hypersensitivity is a medical emergency requiring epinephrine injection (adrenaline) and referral to the emergency care room. Signs and symptoms appear shortly after ingestion of milk, and may include:

  • Narrow airways including swollen throat, which causes difficulty breathing.
  • Hottest face and supply.
  • Itching.
  • Shock with a clear drop in blood pressure.

The main reason for the development of milk Allergy is a more pronounced than normal reaction of the immune system to this substance. Normally, the body never collides with whole milk, except for breast-feeding women. However, the milk formed in their mammary glands does not cause increased immune reactivity due to the fact that immune cells recognize it as an integral part of the body and do not attack. However, getting into the gastrointestinal tract of a child or an adult, milk, before it is sucked into the intestine, disintegrates into many components. The components are simple amino acids, fatty acids and carbohydrates, which the body has met before and does not consider dangerous to itself. The Allergy of the body milk develops only in the case if some or all of its component parts unchanged to penetrate into the bloodstream and face at least one cell of the immune system.

Of course I have many members of my family suffering from this allergy... The value of milk can be compensated with vegetables and dried fruits such as dried figs and other nuts, especially almonds and eggs... Thanks for this useful article
