its not about me
Using social media can make us feel closer but also tear us apart. It’s similar to the idea of divide and conquer and without the majority knowing what’s happening behind the scenes. I have spent the last few years really going through a lot of internal thought and reflection. Attempting to understand why I felt the way I did about life and realizing that if I felt this way, many others are probably feeling the same way too.
I came to some of the following conclusions of what makes us who we are today. It always seems to stem from the information fed to us through the indoctrination from our schools. With the definition of indoctrination being, ‘the process of teaching a person or group to accept a set of beliefs uncritically.’
Literally brainwashed from the early stages of childhood and for the majority of our lives to not question or wonder if what is told to us is truth. Which opens up the opportunity for them to lie to us about everything. Without most of us seeing the underlying meaning behind why they would be lying in the first place.
It is clear that there are no intentions for equality from those with power or there would be no such thing as the tremendous wealth gap we see today. This thought alone should make us question why we continue to follow the path they’ve led for us. Taking their vaccines, eating their food, watching their movies and tv shows, buying their products, listening to their music, slaving for their corporations, and much more.
Which is why this #introduceyourself post is not about me, but about us and how we can come together to change the world. We spend so much time focusing on what makes each of us ‘different’ or ‘unique’ and trying to portray this image to others. When really we are all one in the same, and until we all start understanding how impactful we can become when all of our thoughts and emotions align as one, we will never truly know the power from within.
Our mind is a powerful place but we must be actively using it to change our current paradigm. Our minds are predisposed to how they want us to behave and react, which is not out of intellect but rather the programming of their bad habits. Let’s take control and start by spreading love and positivity to those around us at all times. Being open minded and sharing our thoughts without criticism from one another. As well as actively reminding ourselves that nothing is about just one person but all of us as one. Together we can take over the world and break free from the chains that hold us down! Who’s with me?
