ENG-9. ...Thanks for all that we have, right?

in #mindset6 years ago (edited)

We are so accustomed to the fact that everything around us is a common given, that we cannot even imagine why to be grateful here.

Thank you for reading these lines. True. Very important to me. People love their work, steps, deeds and aspirations appreciated. People love when they support their movement towards the goal. People love when the work done by them can be useful and interesting to someone. Anyway - I love very much. So thank you so much.

The lines you read above have been written for a long time. Long before you see them.

But I really was grateful then and now I feel this feeling towards you. Rest assured. And this is not just my personal vision and sensations. This concept makes a huge sense for any happy person.

Unfortunately, we are accustomed (or we were taught) to be grateful only after the fact. In other words, only after something positive happened to us or did something positive for us. Habitual principles tell us that gratitude is a response, but not like a non-previous state. Or, especially not a constant feeling.

But let's take a look at it from a different angle. I feel there will be difficulty with the translation into English, but still. Let's try. Gratitude is literally a gift of good. Moreover, the benefit is not necessarily the physical equivalent. Fortunately, it can be a positive feeling, a message, a wish, an attitude to something or someone.

That is, to paraphrase, we can say that the state of gratitude is a state that identifies your ability to be grateful, to give good, positive. Be grateful and kind to anything or anyone.

And even if you can not yet accept the idea that you can be in a similar state without preceding events, think about this. Don't you have things for which you can be grateful? From the mere presence of life itself to the ability to breathe, from a purely physical good in the form of a car to high-speed Internet. We are so accustomed to the fact that all of this is a common reality, that we cannot even imagine why we should be grateful here.

And at this time in third world countries, people, small children, do not even have a sip of clean water. They have never tried and may not taste the taste of chocolate. I'll tell you more, their life is guaranteed shorter than yours. If only because you are holding a smartphone in your hands or sitting in front of a laptop (that is, you are in civilization), and in the presence of pain they will not even have an aspirin tablet ...

...Thanks for all that we have, right?

Besides gratitude, there is kindness. Kindness or goodness is something positive that can become part of our condition or a vector of our actions. Good is anything that has a positive vector and good faith.

When you have a lot of kindness, when you are grateful, when you are good, you can share this state with other people. Moreover, through specific actions. Selfless deeds committed to make someone good are called charity.

And even though someone says that today charity is often window dressing and is used to promote their interests. That is, they add their selfish goals to good deeds. You know what? Let be! The main thing is that you see the difference, and the recipients of help feel the effect. That's all.

And it should also be noted that charity is not always through organizations, not always in money, not always publicly, not always centrally and not always out loud. Buy bread lonely old grandmother and hang the package on the handle of her door - also good.

The main thing is vector. And the scale is determined by you personally.

So be grateful, carry good and, as far as possible, be engaged in charity. It is important. Thank.
