This does look like a valuable thing, @cryptoclick. I have added the extension tab, and will monitor how much data it uses from my limit. It may only be a good idea for people with unlimited data.
It was an easy process to complete, and I didn't even need to add any kind of log in or account information. I was surprised at the permissions it required, though. It may be a bit more intrusive than I want.

As to the app permissions, please take a moment and go to your FF and Google tools and read the details of some of the extensions that you might have added to your browser previously. Most of them, at least those I have, (such as for example Grammarly, goo.gl URL Shortener, and many others, all require alike permissions.
@mitneb, I very highly appreciate your adding my article to your Curation Trail Project. I thought about all those people who are looking for any free way to start earning BTC. I trust that for many of them, learning about CryptoTab could prove valuable. People are spending hours to collect Satoshis on all those various faucets sites, I believe that CryptoTab offers much safer and easier way to earn.
The CryptoTab mining earnings are tinny, but please remember that this pool is only starting, and as it gets more members and more computing power, everyone's earnings will increase.

I am not mining, for I am platform mining JSEcoin, (I will mine though and as you see, I did a little already to see if it truly is not interfering with our work) and what I have there are mainly from my network, but many people there registered just recently and the miner stats are not updated live.
Amico, you know that the pool is not mining BTC, it is mining Monero and exchanges once daily Monero to BTC, so all our stats and withdraws are shown in BTC.
Also, please let me know if you are up for promoting this online. I know I am, so I am making now additional splashes, banners, etc. and I will have them available for everyone on my team.
Will post some materials in comments tomorrow and if you like, I will let you know how you can access the splash pages with your CryptoTab link.

Look Amico, I can compare the Chrome miner with Computta Smart Miner.
I have quite many refs there too, but it took me waaay longer to get them there and many people just registered and even never downloaded the miner... And with CryptoTab the download is automatic, and most of the time the miner is not blocked by one's virus protection programs, that helps a lot...

Terrific idea, I was looking for faucets at a time you remember we talked about that ? That's nothing compared to what google chrome offer now ! Just the type of passive income we had been expecting for so long ! Building Bitcoin while sleeping or just while working and letting your browser open :D Now I'm just hoping it won't be such ridiculous amounts as in the faucets, I guess it can be higher with time. And you must be able to store them somewhere safe too at a time, hope it has solved this kind of issue.

This app is perfectly safe and our earnings are safe there too. You know that the pool is not mining BTC, it is mining Monero and exchanging to BTC once a day, so yep, they are more than likely keeping the coins in cold storage.

I should learn more about that. The cold storage you're talking about, what is it exactly ? Like a paper wallet ? They give you a private key only you know about ?
Yep, and my routine is getting more and more like no routine at all... I just do whichever is on the top of my 'have to do' things and hope to deal with the rest soon ;-)
And yes, I hear you, I definitely could use more organization.
As to the cold storage, I only meant that they surely do not hold the coins on the site, but yep, all together, cold storage (aka cold wallets) means generating and storing the crypto coin’s private keys in an offline environment, away from the internet.
Same, I often end up like that too, priorities first...I have to go there, it's a must, I'm sure it can end up being a good investment of time and energy, just letting my computer run and with chrome opened even when I sleep :D

Thanks for sharing cryptos extension tab with us. It is a great way to earn little extra. Only bad thing involve in this idea is electricity usage. Which may be controlled by economic usage. Keep sharing @cryptoclick
I do not think that electricity usage is an issue with this miner app. You are mining on the side, when you are doing something else on your computer. And people who never use Chrome browser, they can do their usual activities on FF, and just keep their Chrome opened for the miner. The app is not heavy at all, it does not make our computer overheated, and if something, you can adjust it or turn it off altogether.
Thanks for detail clarification. You are absolutely right. I was afraid of cpu usage during mining process. Other factor in my mind was people will never turn off their PC, that is why I said about power utilization. Thanks for clearing my concept. Keep sharing @cryptoclick
