Tried MinerGate Today
So anyone who wants to try mining on their computers with a super simple graphical interface and intuitive controls, I believe I have found the answer today. It mines the most profitable coin in its selection of coins including dash, monero, aeon, etc. (basically any cryptonote algo). I highly recommend this program for any mining newbies (including myself). I am still looking to get into some entry level hardware and run it through my old laptop.
