How much do 4 rx480 8g mine?

At the moment graphic cards are sold out across the world and the shortages have caused a premium on graphic cards that are in stock on E-bay or Amazon. I have seen price tags on the rx480 8g on E-bay as much as 1,400 dollars for one card. The retail price was 250 to 300 a few months ago so that is a little insane for one card. I did manage to grab 4 cards before the shortages and have been mining for 3 months.
Since then I have mined about 12 ethereum coins , worth at the moment $4,200. I paid about 1,300 for the hardware and did not expect to get profit for 6 months. Since the price is rising I have tripled my money and want to expand but finding cards is difficult at moment. The cards out of the box run about 24.5 m/h. You can tune the bios on these cards to get 27.5 m/h with lower power consumption and then overclock them to get up to 31.5 m/s per card. I have them half way overclocked with the memory at 2125 seems pretty stable for my rig. I have had problems with drivers and hours of down time here and there other than that it is very profitable at the moment. The only real complaint is the heat. I live in Texas so the heat wave is all to real!

My setup is on my personal computer and I can still use it for music, searching or even play some games. You can call it a Frankenstein mining rig because I have all different brands of cards but same type rx480 8g. So if you can get your hands on some graphic cards you can earn some profit for sure. Even if ethereum switches to proof of stake I may switch to mining ethereum classic because at the moment I could mine 32 coins a month at my current hash rate.

I took a piece of strut and attached it to my desk to hang the cards. I plan on finding a different area of the house to move miners but for now this will have to work. I need to dig a ditch in the backyard to get some power to a old travel trailer to get some amps out there for the mining. Then would able two expand without worry or heat.

You can make some coin with these cards if you can find the damn things!! Hope fully Amd and NVidia make some miner cards that are better than these that are more readily in stock. Good luck to all the miners out there, and hopefully no breakdowns.
