History

Beglium was a part of The netherlands under the rule of Willam I, until they took up arms and formed their own independent country.

Since then Belgians discoverd lots of new things and were one of the first 6 EU countries in the world!

Some inventions

1. the contraceptive pill;
2. the saxophone;
3. the praline;
4. co-invented the World Wide Web;
5. a lot of cartoons (ex.: tintin, smurfs,..)
