Where are you based?
My two are still under the age of 4 but I have no intention of ever sending them to a school. For so many reasons! As long as I am available for them, they will learn far more than they ever would at a school.
Here in France I will have to register them as homeschooled if I intend to be legal.
I believe we all have the same purpose here. To be joyful! Simple as that. But always useful to pick up as many skills as possible along the way ;)
Don't think about the money. If it feels great, do it. Money comes in unexpected ways when we are following our natural flow.

I agree with what you say, our kids learn a lot more from seeing our actions etc.. than being in an indoctrinated school system.
I wish I could have your optimistic mindset regarding money flowing in unexpected ways.. haha I feel like I work my rump off for every little bit :-D
