Not really. Allow me to give a parable:

Picture you're an animal rights activist. You come upon a herd of buffalo in a large pin. Believing they should be free to roam in the wild and control their own fate, you aim to free them. Freeing them doesn't necessarily mean that you are saving them. The wilderness is a dangerous place and they will have to adapt in order to thrive in their new freedom.

So you open the pin. They stand there. A few of them edge towards the opening, and stay outside of the pin for a night or two, but then come back to the pin for food and protection. You realize that they are raised this way and that they won't leave unless forced. So you get a cattle prod and start pushing them out of the opening and into the wild. You force them to adapt. You force them to realize their strength as a herd. You let them teach themselves how to survive in the wild.

Eventually, you stick a bull with the cattle prod and he responds by kicking you in the chest. You hope you've done enough to keep the herd from simply returning to the pin for protection. You hope you've taught them to be free.

  • Grumpy is the cattle prod
  • whoever controls him is the activist
  • Steemians in general are the herd
  • We, the resistance, are the bull

Too much heaven in your mind :)
(say it with the melody of "heaven in their minds" - the Jesus Christ rock opera )

Edit: I took off the Jesus thing since my humor is often lost on many people. The waters don't need to be muddied any more tha they already are.

LOL. You think the Jesus thing was a bit much?

But seriously, do you understand what I am trying to say?

I do indeed..but i still believe this is too much poetry for a bully like @grumpycat.
The facts are generally colder and always related with money.
FD.

Well, I think that is certainly the case. If you look at his daily take.
