Did Jon Jones lose his knockout power?
This is my first sports post!
Now as a massive fan of Jonny Bones I don't want to think he lost his death touch.
He is a hometown hero of mine and one of the baddest mother fuckers of all time. But the question needs to be asked.
Can Jonny Bones Jones still put the best fighters to sleep?
Sure it is smart for Jon to use his length, target the knees with his devastating oblique kick, slow his opponents down, and win on the cards.
But I just don't see the explosive power he had 6 years ago. Every time I see him rock a fighter they bounce right back up.
Could this be due to USADA anti doping getting involved in 2015?
Jones has only had two knockouts since USADA joined and one of those knockout were ruled a no-contest due to turanibol in Jones' system.
I remain a staunch defender of Jon Jones's skill but I am pretty sure he was on steroids most of his career, I thought this before he ever got popped.
I think he has lost his devastating knockout power due to USADA's entrance and tho he is still one of the best fighters on planet earth he has trouble putting his opponents to sleep.

Jon never had too much KO power to start with, as far as I know, 2 KOs on his record. His elbows are vicious tho, standing up or on the ground and makes TKOs (8 of them) easy for him. I love his ground game, so dominant.
