My first MMA fight!!!
Fight day vlog!
This was a crazy experience for me. I was nervous, excited and scared all at the same time. My nerves were shot. I remember thinking in the back "What the fuck are you doing", "This is crazy", "Dont get Knocked out, please dont get knocked out". My mind was racing and the anticipation was killing me. The nerves steadily increased all the way up until I was facing my opponent in the cage. At that moment I remember telling myself "Aint no turning back now...time to do this shit!". The fight started and the crowd was roaring. But I could only hear the voices of my friends, family and coaches. The fight went the distance and I won a unanimous decision. Not the ideal outcome...I wanted a finish but I learned/realized alot of things that night. One of the thing I realized is how good my training partners were. See, all fight camp I couldnt take anyone down but during the fight I took my opponent down easily. Having good training partners is a key to success in MMA and I lucked out. The feeling of getting your hand raised is amazing. I havent fought in 2 years and find myself missing it. If you look on my other posts you can see my other hobby is knife making. That has taken a big chunk of my extra time these past few years. But I'm starting to get the itch...
